By enrolling, you are making a proactive commitment to securing your financial future – for yourself and those who matter most to you. Our goal is to build a long-term relationship rooted in trust and results, but there’s no obligation to a multi-year engagement. You have the flexibility to opt out at any time, ensuring the planning process remains aligned with your needs and goals.
- Our pricing is designed to reflect the complexity of your financial situation. Clients whose income is solely reported on a W-2 typically fall into our lower pricing tier, as their planning needs are more straightforward. If your income includes additional sources, such as 1099 earnings, rental or real estate income, or mineral royalties, the higher tier may be more appropriate for your situation due to the complexity. We’ll help you determine the appropriate tier during our initial conversation to ensure your plan is tailored to your specific situation.
- The time commitment is designed to be manageable and meaningful. It begins with an initial “get to know you” meeting, where we learn about your goals, priorities, and financial landscape. From there, we have three planning meetings the first year and two in subsequent years to review progress, adjust strategies, and address any new developments. These meetings are structured to provide clarity and confidence without overwhelming your schedule.
- To make the most of your planning experience, we’ll provide a tailored checklist of information based on the topic of each meeting. This ensures you are only gathering what’s relevant and necessary – whether it’s income details, investment statements or estate planning documents. We’ll guide you through it step-by-step so you feel prepared and confident going into each meeting.
- While your external financial partners won’t be directly involved in the planning process, it can be beneficial to share your financial plan with them, especially if they play a role in implementing certain strategies. You’re welcome to involve them at your discretion, and we’re happy to coordinate with them if that helps ensure your broader financial goals are aligned and supported.
- The right time to create a financial plan can be different for everyone. In general, however, the right time is when you’re ready to take control of your money and align it with your long-term goals. If you’re earning an income, managing debt, saving for something important (including retirement), or going through a life change like a new job, home, or family, a financial plan can give you clarity and direction. You don’t need to have everything figured out or be wealthy to start, you just need a desire to make your money work for you. Ultimately, the time is right when you want more confidence, structure, and peace of mind in your financial decisions.

These years are focused on maintaining momentum, revisiting goals, and updating your plan as your life evolves. This structure ensures you receive continued support and guidance.
- Your fee covers a comprehensive, personalized financial planning experience designed to help you make confident decisions across all areas of your financial life. This structure ensures you are not paying for just a document – you’re investing in a relationship and a dynamic process that grows with you.
- No, you don’t need to have an investment manager to create or benefit from flat-fee financial planning. If you are already working with an investment professional, you’re welcome to collaborate with them to implement the strategies outlined in your plan. If you’re not currently working with someone, or would like additional support, we can connect you with a trusted advisor.
- Your involvement is key to ensuring the financial plan is able to reflect your goals and needs. Your CFP® will work with you initially to understand your goals and needs to develop the plan. You can take your plan and make adjustments to your spending, saving, etc. to meet your goals and utilize the plan to have discussions with any specialists who assist with your financial picture including estate planners, advisors or accountants.
